Chris Judah-Lauder

Chris Judah-Lauder lives in Dallas, TX and is retired after teaching forty years of general music; kindergarten–eighth grade; and Orff, recorder, and drum ensembles at Clay Middle School, South Bend, IN; St. Lawrence School, Indianapolis, IN; and Good Shepherd Episcopal School, Dallas, TX. Chris has the designation of Master Teacher with Indiana University from South Bend, IN.

Chris is a Past President of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association and has chaired two National AOSA Conferences; 2009 in Milwaukee and 2017 in Fort Worth, TX. She is an endorsed teacher education instructor for the American Orff-Schulwerk Association and has been on faculty at Trinity University, TX; VanderCook College School of Music in Chicago; Michigan Orff College in Detroit, MI; and North Dakota State University. Chris presents many Master Orff Courses throughout the country and is currently serving as a consultant for several Title One schools, working directly in the classroom with the music teacher.

She is an active clinician for in-service staff developments, Level Courses, Orff Schulwerk Chapters, State Music Education Conferences, and international workshops. Chris has seventeen publications and is a senior author for Macmillan/McGraw-Hill.
