David Kidwell

David Kidwell (b. 1968) is an active conductor and composer. He is music director of the Holyoke Civic Symphony (since 1997), the Guilford Festival Orchestra of Vermont, and is minister of music at Edwards Church in Northampton, Massachusetts. A native of Virginia, he was educated at the University of Mary Washington and the Hartt School. Kidwell has written music for orchestras, chamber ensembles, choruses, voices, and solo instruments.
