Ed Hogan

Ed Hogan earned a degree from Florida State University, where he studied music education and composition. He was a high school band director for eleven years before founding EHF Productions, a full‑service music and audio production company. His earliest publications were marching band arrangements for the Hal Leonard Corporation, but for over twenty-five years he has been involved with every aspect of the production of church music.

Ed has worked with most major church music publishers, doing choral arranging, anthem orchestrations, instrumental solo and small ensemble books, full orchestra arrangements, and hymnal orchestrations. He does Finale engraving and has produced many recordings of church music projects. He was Instrumental Product Developer for Lillenas for fifteen years and frequently serves as a clinician at reading sessions, workshops, and conferences.

Ed also composes, orchestrates, and produces music assets for film and video projects. You can hear examples of his work at edhoganmusic.com.

Ed is an ordained elder in his home church, King's Chapel Presbyterian, where he has been Director of Worship for over twenty-five years. Ed and his wife, Carol, live in Carrollton, Georgia. They love spending time with their two daughters, their sons-in-law, and three wonderful grandchildren.
