James McCray

Dr. James McCray teaches composition, choral methods, music history and conducting at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He received degrees from Illinois Wesleyan (B.M.E.), Southern Illinois University (M.M.), and University of Iowa (Ph.D.). Author of three books, he has published over a hundred choral compositions. Dr. McCray is a frequent festival director in several states, and is an active member of ACDA and All‑State Governing Board.
