Kate Crellin

Kate Crellin (she/her) is an award-winning vocalist, educator, composer & conductor from Los Angeles, CA. Kate holds degrees from Queens’ College, Cambridge (MMus Choral Conducting, top of class) and the University of Southern California (BA Choral Music and Law, History, and Culture, manga cum laude.) While at USC, Kate received both the Renaissance Scholar Prize for her interdisciplinary work and the Choral & Sacred Department's “Outstanding BA” honor. As a composer and arranger, Kate studied with Morten Lauridsen (USC) and Jonathan Rathbone (Cambridge.) In 2021, she won the CCDA George Huessenstamm Composition Competition for her work, “Home-Thoughts, From Abroad.” As a vocalist, she performs choral, contemporary a cappella, and jazz music around Los Angeles.
