Linda Sprunger

Dr. Ron Sprunger and Linda, his wife, are a music ministry team. Their work includes writing for piano and organ and organ solos for Lillenas. Through the use of a variety of musical styles, they have a unique way of connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds. Ron is passionate about blending music styles with the goal of nurturing people and pursuing unity in the body of Christ. Helping people discover the richness of both hymns and choruses has been an emphasis in their ministry.

Both Ron and Linda studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, where they first met. Ron is a graduate of Bluffton University, Kent State University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is Professor Emeritus at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio where he taught worship design, hymnology, other church‑music‑related courses and directed the chapel choir. Linda is a graduate of The Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She assisted Ron in his work, serving as director of the men's and women's ensembles and as accompanist for the Chapel Choir.

Ron and Linda have recorded quite a few of their arrangements. To hear a few of these selections and view a complete list of publications, go to Ron's website and select Publications under the heading Our Story. The Sprungers' available piano/organ recordings are listed on the same home page.
