Matthew Walicke

Matthew Walicke (b. 1973) is an active organist, composer, conductor, singer, and vocal coach in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His full-time position as Director of Music and Worship Arts at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church keeps him very busy directing their choirs, praise bands, handbell choir, instrumental ensembles, and providing organ, piano, and vocal leadership for weekly services. Matthew is also very involved with local theater providing musical direction, production, and composition for the stage with several community and professional theater companies. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey and a Masters in Choral and Orchestral Conducting from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
