Nathan R. Lange

Nathan R. Lange (b. 1996) holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. He has taught vocal music in grades 7-12 at the districts of both Albert Lea in Minnesota and Wapsie Valley in Iowa. Nathan’s works have been performed by choirs at the collegiate, high school, and middle school levels. In 2021, Nathan’s piece Invictus won 3rd prize in ACDA’s Raymond C. Brock Student Composers Competition. Guided by the text, Nathan’s music often features unique harmonies and rhythms that challenge singers in rewarding ways. In May of 2022, he will graduate with an M.M. in Choral Conducting from the University of Missouri.
