Sandra has composed music in nearly every genre—including works for orchestra, choral ensembles, instrumental ensembles, handbell choir and ensemble, piano, organ, and other solo instruments. A special interest of hers has been the composition of hymns. Tidings of Great Joy, Sandra's Christmas cantata, has been performed by a variety of American churches.
